Windows repeatedly icing up on the insideĮvaporator and blower problem. We will be buying the extended warranty from Clark this month for the Buick for 4/48 which cover it til 100k. I brought it to Clark Cadillac in Pinehurst where we have purchased multiple cars and they did the assessment. We went to the Buick dealership and my wife was told we needed to purchase an extended warranty for a car that had a 4/50k and was still under the 50k and 4 years. We think the inside cap came loose and was obstructing the sensor.
Dealer found a loose wire under the passenger side dashboard.įront sensor in camera for forward collision warning kept going off.

Left headlight was burned out, replacement parts cost 280.00 from dealer plus at least one hour shop timeĪir bag sensor light came on randomly. The right headlight was out, it was replaced at a cost of 415.00 I was surprised at the cost of the bulb of 285.00 plus 130.00 for labor This is the second time for this problem. No subsequent problems.Ī leak in the rear evaporator. The battery and charging system tested fine. Got a message on the car display indicating "Check Charging System". Original battery replaced under warranty. Dealer downloaded new software to the navigation unit (took 90 minutes). Sensor was replaced, which resolved the non-functional AC issue. Replacement unit reset itself the day after picking up the car, and it does so randomly to this day.ĭealer diagnosed a faulty engine coolant temperature sensor. Replaced entire radio/nav head unit due to repeated, random, unattended reset issue. Informed dealer, who advised that, at next regular service, they would replace the entire unit.

Dealer finally decided to download new system software. This has been a recurring issue throughout my ownership since new. Occasionally, will get in the car in the morning and find that the tuner has reset itself to the lowest frequency on the FM band. Dealer mechanic could not determine cause.
